From the CMT Newswire: Billy Joe Shaver turned himself in at a Waco, Texas, jail on Tuesday (April 3) after he shot a man at an area bar on Saturday night (March 31). After posting $50,000 bond, Shaver was released. His attorney stated that Shaver acted in self-defense after an aggressive drunk man followed Shaver out of the bar with a knife.
